Admission Requirements
To qualify for admission into the MS VBMS program, applicants must:
- Hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution (or verified international equivalent)
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
- Have completed all prerequisite coursework with a minimum GPA of C or better per course
Applicants may apply while still completing prerequisite coursework and must submit final transcripts once the coursework is complete to remain eligible for admission.
How to Apply
The MS VBMS program accepts students for Fall and Spring Semesters. To apply, submit the following materials through the application system:
- Completed application
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended
- Two letters of recommendation
- One personal statement (500-word max)
- Full curriculum vitae (CV)

Important: All documents must be submitted through . Your application must be completed and verified by the deadline to be reviewed. It is your responsibility to track your application’s progress. Applications that are incomplete or unverified by the deadline will not be considered.
MS VBMS Admission Process
- Submit through PostbacCAS:
All documents, including letters of recommendation, must be submitted through the centralized PostbacCAS system.
- Initial Review:
Once verified, your application will be reviewed for completeness and eligibility by the LMU-CVM Office of Admissions.
- Committee Evaluation:
Qualified applicants will be invited to a brief 10 to 15-minute interview via Zoom with committee members.
- Interview & Final Review:
After your interview and submission of any additional documentation, the committee will recommend a decision to the LMU-CVM Dean.
- Admission Notification:
Final decisions will be communicated in writing. Acceptance is conditional upon submission of any outstanding documents requested by LMU-CVM.

Guaranteed Veterinary School Interview
Students who:
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 over 15 credit hours, and
- Submit all application materials ( and supplemental materials) to the LMU-CVM, will be guaranteed an admissions interview with LMU-CVM.
