Our MS VBMS program offers advanced academic learning in the life sciences through graduate coursework, professional development, and research. A unique feature of our program is the opportunity to study alongside first-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students at the Richard A. Gillespie College of Veterinary Medicine, giving you direct exposure to the rigor and pace of veterinary education. To qualify for admission into the MS VBMS program, applicants must:

How to Apply

The MS VBMS program accepts students for Fall and Spring Semesters. To apply, submit the following materials through the application system:

MS VBMS Admission Process

  1. Submit through PostbacCAS:
    All documents, including letters of recommendation, must be submitted through the centralized PostbacCAS system.
  2. Initial Review:
    Once verified, your application will be reviewed for completeness and eligibility by the LMU-CVM Office of Admissions.
  3. Committee Evaluation:
    Qualified applicants will be invited to a brief 10 to 15-minute interview via Zoom with committee members.
  4. Interview & Final Review:
    After your interview and submission of any additional documentation, the committee will recommend a decision to the LMU-CVM Dean.
  5. Admission Notification:
    Final decisions will be communicated in writing. Acceptance is conditional upon submission of any outstanding documents requested by LMU-CVM.
