The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Lincoln Memorial University began in the Fall 2015 semester and is housed in the Duncan School of Law building in Knoxville, Tennessee. Our program is dedicated to providing a unique learning experience characterized by personal attention in order to help our students gain knowledge and achieve fulfillment in their area of interest. In 2017, the LMU MPA program launched a Nonprofit Management track aimed at fostering strong and professional leadership in the East Tennessee area.
For the last two academic years, the LMU MPA program has funded travel for students and faculty to academic conferences across the country, including the Annual Conference of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) in Atlanta (2017) and Denver (2018). In 2018, the LMU MPA program supported its first graduate student presentation at the ASPA Annual Meeting when MPA student Jessica Whitmill presented "Nonprofit Collective Impact Initiatives: A Case Study of the Alliance for Better Nonprofits in East Tennessee."
