Academic Support

Lincoln Memorial University offers students a multitude of academic resources, which allows students from all backgrounds, to experience a wide range of opportunities. Our goal at LMU, is to help each student have the total university experience and have access to all the possible resources needed for social, personal, and academic development and success.

This is done academically through traditional means such as academic advising, tutoring, group study, review sessions, workshops and programs such as Cornerstone or Student Support Services that specifically target students who might benefit from some extra academic and social assistance. The Office of Academic Support also coordinates the Student Welfare Alert system. This is a tool for intervention for students referred by faculty or staff for grade-related and attendance issues. We also help coordinate the academic programs of warning and probation in order to help students who have struggled have the opportunity and tools to facilitate academic recovery.

We also offer more non-traditional means of academic support through our programs such as Mental Health Counseling, Career Services, and Accessible Education Services (ADA).
