Miwa Batchelor's Classes:

2017  Painting for Kids (1st -5th grades)

This is painting class for Elementarry Students (Grades 1st through 5th) -beginners and intermediate levels are all welcome!

July 17 -21st

AITG is proud to offer the Painting class as part of our 2017 Fine Arts Camp at LMU.

This is painting class for 9-12 graders & young adults -beginners and intermediate levels are all welcome!

Class runs June 19th -23rd from 9am -11:30 am.

2017  Painting for Middle School

This is a Painting class for Middle School Students (Grades 6th through 8th) -beginners and intermediate levels are all welcome!

Class runs June 26th -30th from 9am -11:00 am.

 

Joseph “Casey” Cosgriff's Class:

AITG is proud to offer the 2017 Plein Air Painting for Adults

Casey is leading this Plein Air Painting workshop where participants will learn to look at the environment to draw
inspiration for their complete, ready-to-bring-home piece.

This workshop runs June 19th -23rd  from 5-7pm.

About instructors:

INSTRUCTOR:

Born in a small town in Japan, Miwa Batchelor has had a lifelong interest in art. Miwa , married with two daughters received her Bachelor of Arts in Art at Lincoln Memorial University in 2016. She has sold many paintings, drawings, and ceramic works at college art shows and charity auctions. She is currently working mostly with oil, acrylic and Japanese ink on landscapes, still-lifes, and portraits.

 

Joseph “Casey” Cosgriff, a former special education teacher and current Lincoln Memorial University professor in Education, is leading in Plein Air Painting workshop this summer. Casey has a Bachelor of Fine Art degree and Master of Fine Art degree in painting and printmaking.
