AITG is proud to offer the 2018 Drawing classes:

Portrait Drawing for adults with Brandon Lutterman.

This class will be a step by step instruction that will have you drawing your best portraits yet. Techniques of shading and blending that capture the soft tones and dimensional shapes of facial features (eyes, nose, ears, and mouth), skin, and hair.

Please bring an 8x10 black and white photographed portrait you would like to draw.

Class runs June 23th -27th from 5-7pm.

This is Drawing class for 7-12 graders & young adults -beginners and intermediate levels are all welcome!

Class runs June 18th -22rd from 12:30-3pm

 

Drawing for Kids class ( 1st thourgh 5th graders )

This morning half day program is a drawing class for young elemearty grade students up to 5th graders -beginners and intermediate levels are all welcome!

Class runs June 12th -16th from 9am -11:00 am.

INSTRUCTOR:

Brandon Lutterman, Assistant Professor of Fine Art at Lincoln Memorial University, has an extensive artistic and professional background, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and two Master’s degrees in Ceramics. He draws inspiration from nature to put life into his work. Brandon Lutterman received his BFA and Master of Arts degrees in Ceramics at Minnesota State University, Mankato and the MFA in Ceramics from Kansas State University. He is Assistant Professor of Visual Art and Program Director at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. He has worked at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, the University of Maine at Augusta, Southern Maine Community College, the University of Southern Maine and as Instructor of Ceramics at Bowdoin College Craft Center. His work is exhibited regionally, nationally, internationally and held in public and private collections, including the Beach Museum in Manhattan, the Kansas State University Collection, and the Kerameikon Collection of Contemporary World Ceramics.

 

 

Born in a small town in Japan, Miwa Batchelor has had a lifelong interest in art. Miwa , married with two daughters received her Bachelor of Arts in Art at Lincoln Memorial University in 2016. She has sold many paintings, drawings, and ceramic works at college art shows and charity auctions. She is currently working mostly with oil, acrylic and Japanese ink on landscapes, still-lifes, and portraits.
