
LMU President Clayton Hess has announced that LMU will open campus as scheduled to start the Spring 2021 semester. However, with surging COVID cases across the country, all classes -- didactic and laboratory -- will begin in an online format for the first two weeks.

- Travis Bailey Named Chief of LMU Campus Police and Security
Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) President Clayton Hess has named Assistant Chief of Police Travis Bailey as the new Chief of LMU Police and Security. Bailey’s appointment is effective immediately, as Bailey is promoted to lead the department after the untimely loss of Chief Christopher King, who passed away in December after two months of being at the helm of the nationally recognized department.

Six Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law (LMU Law) students have been selected to be part of the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division 2021 Diversity Leadership Institute. A total of 15 law students from Tennessee law schools were selected to be a part of the six-month leadership and mentoring program.

Michael Spadafora, PT, DScPT, CMPT, has joined the faculty of the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program effective Jan. 4, 2021. Spadafora will serve as the assistant professor of Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy for the new program set to welcome its first class in May 2021 at LMU-Knoxville.

The breakdown of the residency matches includes four Army, four Navy, and two Airforce.
