
Based on rapidly decreasing COVID-19 case counts in the Lincoln Memorial University service areas, President Clayton Hess has announced that LMU will begin a phased approach to expanding access to campus facilities beginning on Monday, March 1, 2021.

- An Evening with Jon Meacham Rescheduled to April 21, 2022
Out of an abundance of caution, LMU Law and the East Tennessee Historical Society have rescheduled their event, An Evening with Jon Meacham. Originally set for April 9, 2020, the community lecture by acclaimed presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author will now take place at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the Bijou Theatre.

Lincoln Memorial University-Caylor School of Nursing (LMU-CSON) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduates recorded a first-time pass rate in the 2020 National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) of 98%, topping national and state averages.

In summer 2020, collaborative research by Dr. Vina Faulkner, associate professor of veterinary sciences at Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM), and Dr. Barbara Shock, assistant professor of biology and conservation biology at LMU’s School of Mathematics and Sciences, yielded the discovery of 10 Asian longhorned ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis) in Harrogate and Speedwell, Tennessee.
