After a two-year, multimillion-dollar renovation, the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum is open to the public. Visitors are once again welcomed to visit one of the world's largest private collections of Lincoln and Civil War material anywhere in the world.

Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 12:00pm to 5pm - Abraham Lincoln's 217th Birthday Celebration and Vault Tour
Join us for a celebration of President Abraham Lincoln's 217th birthday. President Lincoln himself will be present and share in the celebration by speaking about events in his life and reciting the Gettysburg Address. In addition, visitors will be able to go behind the scenes and into the museum vault, which is rarely opened to the public. Please pre-register for your timed vault tour. This is a FREE event for the public. However, timed tickets are required to tour the vault. They are free and available HERE
Friday and Saturday, April 17 & 18 - 10 am to 6 pm - Liberty’s Path: America’s Journey to 250
Join us for a celebration of the Semiquincentennial of the United States of America. Camps will be set up for each American War from the Revolution through today. There will be food vendors, demonstrations, and many, many more activities! This is a free event.

Please note that the museum is closed on Easter weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, and during all Lincoln Memorial University holiday closures.
The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum will be closed for winter break from Saturday, December 20th, 2025 through Sunday, January 4th, 2026. The museum will reopen Monday, January 5th, 2026.
