1. When are courses in the Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program held?
The LMU Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program is 100% online graduate degree program with courses offered through our online learning platform, Canvas. Course instructors offer asynchronous (recorded) lectures via Canvas applications. 

2. How do I apply to the Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program at Lincoln Memorial University?
To apply to the Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program at Lincoln Memorial University, please visit https://applynow.lmunet.edu/.  
 
3. What are the deadlines for program applications?
The LMU Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program offers open enrollment for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Applications should be submitted a minimum of three to four weeks before the start of each semester. 4. Do I need to pass the GRE exam in order to be admitted into the Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program?
No, the LMU Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program does not currently require that you take the GRE exam in order to be admitted into the program.  However, some students wish to pursue a Ph.D. or PsyD after completing the Masters Degree.  Since many of those programs require the GRE, it is recommended that you take the exam before applying to the MSP program.
 
5. Are letters of recommendation required for admission into the MSP program?
Yes, the LMU Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program requires applicants to submit a minimum of two letters of recommendation from sources that can speak to your character and work ethic, such as a former undergraduate instructor, an employer, or a civic organization representative. In addition to letters of recommendation, an entrance interview may be requested by the graduate school selection committee.
 
6. Where should letters of recommendation be sent?
Letters of recommendation should be sent to the AHSS Graduate School Administrative Assistant for the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, via e-mail (msp.info@lmunet.edu) or by mail to our Harrogate, TN campus at Lincoln Memorial University, Avery Hall c/o Paige Dzindolet, 6965 Cumberland Gap Pkwy, Harrogate, Tennessee 37752.
 
7. Where should undergraduate transcripts be sent?
Undergraduate transcripts should be sent to the AHSS Graduate School Administrative Assistant for the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, via e-mail msp.info@lmunet.edu ) or by mail to our Harrogate, TN campus at Lincoln Memorial University, Avery Hall c/o Paige Dzindolet, 6965 Cumberland Gap Pkwy, Harrogate, Tennessee 37752.
 
8. How much does the MSP program cost?
As of the 2022-2023 academic year, tuition for the LMU Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) program is $565 per credit hour. Tuition rates are subject to change for future semesters. 9. What is the minimum GPA for entry into the MSP program?
Students should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and at least 18 hours of undergraduate psychology courses.  Anyone who does not meet the GPA requirement, is encouraged to contact the Program Director as some exceptions are made based on the applicant's profile (e.g. strong letters of recommendation, work experience, personal interview with the Director).
