Biography: Edward "Trey" Asbury graduated with a B.A. in psychology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He earned a master's degree in the field at East Tennessee State and a PhD in developmental psychology at Texas Christian University. Dr. Asbury has taught for over 25 years and is a research associate at the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom. His research is centered on "cyberpsychology", which explores the relationship between human behavior and technology. He also currently serves as the Graduate Coordinator for the school of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at LMU.
Jeff Batis earned 2 B.A.s from Utah State University (Psychology; Liberal Arts and Sciences). He earned a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosciences from Wayne State University, and then a M.A. in Criminal Justice from Fisher College. His work history includes working at a biotech company working on clinical trials for new medications and working teaching as an adjunct professor at several universities. Since 2017, he has worked full-time at Southern Virginia University. In addition to teaching, he has served as a program coordinator, division chair, and currently serves as the campus faculty athletic representative.
