LMU Duncan School of Law requires ninety (90) credit hours of instruction for graduation. In the part-time/hybrid program, forty-nine (49) credit hours are completely online. The part-time/hybrid program averages nine credit hours in the fall semesters, nine credit hours in the spring semesters, and six credit hours in the summer semesters. The program takes eleven (11) semesters to complete.
In view of the demands of work and other commitments, the online component of classes is conducted in an asynchronous manner. That means that students complete classes on their own schedules. Apart from meetings with instructors or students that may be required, students work at times when they are able to do so. Attendance at pre-scheduled classes is not required.
The current curriculum for the part-time/hybrid program is shown below. Courses that are completely online, with no on-campus residential requirement, are shown with an *. No Credit (NC) courses are provided as part of the school’s program of Academic Success, and participation is required on the part of some students. Please note that the curriculum is in development in preparation for a revised bar exam as developed by the National Conference of Bar Examiners and that some changes may be made to the curriculum.
