Selected Works

Prior to joining LMU Law in 2009, Dean Gordon Russell was the founding Associate Dean for Library and Information Technology and Professor of Law at Charleston School of Law. For more than 10 years, he has taught legal research in offshore tax online for the International Off-Shore Tax LL.M. program directed by William Byrnes.

Russell received his B.A. and M.L.S. from Brigham Young University, LL.B. from University of Western Ontario, J.D. from the University of New Mexico, and MBA from Lincoln Memorial University. He has served on several ABA Site Team Evaluations and is currently a Member of the AALL-Academic Law Libraries SIS CALI committee. He was a member of the AALL Academic Law Library Special Interest Section’s Task Force on the ABA Standards Review. As a member of the ABA Legal Education Law School Facilities Committee, Russell was involved in planning the ABA Bricks and Bytes Conference in March 2010 in Philadelphia and March 2012 in San Diego.
