Bachelor of Business Administration

A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in business will prepare you with foundational concepts in business that you can apply to various career pursuits and professional education opportunities. Graduates will have a business foundation in accounting, communications, economics, ethics, finance, information systems, international business, law, management, marketing, quantitative analysis, statistics, and strategy.

The BBA degree requires the completion of the business core courses (36 credit hours) and one BBA concentration (24 semester credit hours) in either Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Sport Management, or General Business.

BBA Degree Concentrations

Accounting

The Accounting concentration provides students with a comprehensive foundation in accounting concepts, principles, and ethics advancing the profession through excellence in accounting education, use of technology, research, and outreach activities.

The Business Analytics Concentration provides students with the fundamental concepts and tools needed to understand the emerging role of business analytics in organizations.

Finance

The Finance concentration prepares students for careers in general business, investments, commercial banking, small business ownerships and entrepreneurships, financial planning and international institutions.

The Sport Management concentration is designed to introduce sport industry concepts to the students and serve as a base to prepare students for entry level employment in the field through networking and internship experiences.

Bachelor of Arts in Business

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree provides a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in general business practices, is open to all students, and can serve as a second concentration. This is a degree option for students seeking secondary general business education licensure. It also provides an alternative to the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BBA) for the student who might discover an interest in business during the latter portion of an undergraduate program of study.

The BA degree requires the completion of the business core curriculum.

Associate of Business Administration

LMU also offers an associate-level degree program for interested students. The Associate of Business Administration (ABA) degree prepares the student to develop knowledge, understanding, critical thinking, and technical skills and abilities required in the business world.
