GENERAL INFORMATION ON OUR MBA

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is dedicated to providing educational and research opportunities to working adults wanting to develop professionally by enhancing their business skills and credentials. Graduates from this degree program are able to communicate effectively through written and oral expression; apply critical thinking skills to managerial decisions; analyze and evaluate ethical decision making and social responsibility when solving business problems; understand and apply the strategic management principles of crafting and executing strategy in a global economy; and obtain in-depth knowledge of the functional areas of business.

The MBA program is a 30-hour program intended for upwardly mobile professionals and recent baccalaureate graduates with exceptional academic backgrounds. Courses are offered in an entirely online format. The curriculum is divided into eight core courses and two electives. If a student wishes to obtain a concentration in Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Sport Management, or Strategic Management they are required to take eight core courses and four concentration specific electives for a total of 36 semester credit hours. 

Program Objectives:

  • MBA1: Apply financial and managerial accounting information to evaluate organizational performance and support managerial decision-making.
  • MBA2:  Evaluate financial and economic alternatives to support investment decisions, resource allocation, and organizational value creation.
  • MBA3: Analyze market opportunities and develop organizational marketing initiatives that create sustainable competitive advantage.
  • MBA4: Analyze organizational data using analytical methods to support strategic managerial decision-making.
  • MBA5: Analyze the internal and external business environment to develop strategies that create and sustain competitive advantage.
  • MBA6: Develop leadership strategies that drive organizational transformation, innovation, and sustainable organizational performance.
  • MBA7: Develop strategies for integrating emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve organizational performance, innovation, and decision-making.

PROGRAM OPTIONS AND CURRICULUM

The core curriculum focuses on business theory and applications by integrating case studies, research, presentations, and seminars. The objective of the program is for the student to be able to apply the principles of accounting, finance, economics, information technology, management, marketing, business analytics, business strategy, and business ethics within a contemporary global business environment. A degree from this program can lead to career advancement across all business disciplines in the private, public, or nonprofit sectors.
