Course Description:
This continuing education course provides dental professionals with current, evidence-based practices for instrument reprocessing and infection prevention in compliance with CDC, OSHA, CODA, and AAMI standards. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the sterilization workflow from point-of-use treatment through decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage. Special emphasis is placed on dental-specific instrumentation, quality assurance monitoring, and preventing cross-contamination in a multi-operatory clinical environment.
