Murray K. Marks, PhD, D-ABFA, F-AAFS is a professor with the Institute of Human Identification in the College of Dental Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University. Dr. Marks is also a member of the Forensic Anthropologist at the East Tennessee Regional Forensic Center and Hamilton County (Chattanooga) Medical Examiner’s Office. Dr. Marks is an adjunct and teaches appointments in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at Boston University and in the Department of Human Anatomy at the University of Western Australia. Dr. Marks served as Vice President of the American Board of Forensic Anthropology with memberships in the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, American Association of Biological Anthropologists, National Association of Medical Examiners, American Society of Forensic Odontology, and Dental Anthropology Association. Dr. Marks' academic and practical interests include skeletal/dental biology and histology and human identification. His research interests include fracture callus histology in child abuse, sternal rib ageing, fetal forensic dental development, and osteology.
