Summer Clerkship Leads To Adoption for One LMU Law Student
Rising second year law student Geran Minor spent the summer in her hometown of Barren County, Kentucky, where she took a paid clerkship with Family Court Judge Mica Wood Pence. While working for Pence, she had the opportunity to write the petition, notice for a hearing, and interrogatories for her adoption.

The Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law (LMU Law) has teamed with the LMU Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences to offer another joint-degree program - the Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD)/Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ) Degree Program. The program will allow LMU Law students to complete a Master of Science in Criminal Justice while pursuing a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree.

Asher Awarded Algernon Sydney Sullivan Scholarship
Lincoln Memorial University presented the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Scholarship to Caelyn Asher, of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. Asher is a graduate of Cumberland Gap High School and will be joining the LMU School of Business in fall 2021, as a freshman working toward a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
