Ann Walsh Long has more than 25 years of experience as a law librarian. During that time, she has worked in the governmental setting at the Environmental Protection Agency, the private sector at several large law firms, and the academic setting at the West Virginia University College of Law. She has written numerous articles and presented regionally and nationally on current trends in law libraries. She received her law degree from Duncan School of Law, her master’s degree in library science from the Catholic University of America, and her bachelor’s from Colorado College. Long received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Lawyering Skills I in 2010 and the AALL Spectrum Article of the Year Award in 2000. She was also featured in Law Librarian Blog’s Spotlight on Law Librarians in 2006.
