PALS Courses

The LMU-DCOM American Heart Association Training Center offers Pediatric Advanced Life Support Initial and Renewal courses designed to meet the needs of today's healthcare providers. B The New 2015 AHA PALS Guidelines will be available late 2015 - early 2016.

PALS PALS

The PALS Course is designed to provide pediatric health care providers with the knowledge and skills to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children and help improve outcomes. The course provides the learner with information needed to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest; strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest; and the cognitive and psychomotor skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest.

The PALS Course Renewal is designed to provide pediatric health care providers with the knowledge and skills to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children and help improve outcomes. PALS

The Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor Essentials Course is for those individuals interested in becoming a PALS Instructor. Students must meet all requirements of the American Heart Association. Please contact Johnathan Greene for more information at johnathan.greene@LMUnet.edu.
