The LMU-DCOM American Heart Association Training Center offers Advanced Cardiac Life Support Initial and Renewal courses designed to meet the needs of today's healthcare providers. The New 2015 AHA ACLS Guidelines will be available late 2015 - early 2016.

ACLS LSI ACLS LSR

The ACLS Course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage an acute coronary syndrome. It is designed for healthcare providers who direct and participate in the resuscitation of a patient, both in and out of hospital.B ACLS will enhance your skills in the treatment of arrest and post-arrest patients through active participation in a series of simulated cardiopulmonary cases.B ACLS-simulated clinical scenarios encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice skills individually, as part of a team, and as a team leader.

ACLS E Intro to ECGs

ACLS Instructor Essentials Course provides individuals the opportunity to an ACLS Instructor.B Students that are interested in becoming an ACLS Instructor must meet all requirements of the American Heart Association. The Introduction to ECGs Course is designed to help the student interpret the rhythm and also understand the anatomy and physiology of the heart and circulatory system. Students who are new to the medical field will benefit most from this class as it would be a great pre-requisite for first time ACLS attendees.
