Monotype is an exciting and intuitive printmaking process in which paint, ink, or drawing material is transferred from a flat surface to a sheet of paper. This flexible process allows the artist to work easily in a variety of locations, both indoors and out. Participants of the workshop will be given the opportunity to engage in plein air printmaking, work from imagination, or bring their own source material. If time allows, individual student work will be supplemented by a collaborative group project Ages 18 and up.
