This general store building was assoiated with Lincoln during his New Salem and early Springfield years. The main focus of interpretation is the group of Whig legislatures Lincoln led called the Long Nine
- Bryant Cottage; Bement, Illinois http://www.illinoishistory.gov/hs/bryant_cottage.htm The middle-class house was preserved because of the planning meeting that took place here between Abraham Lincoln and his rival Steven A Douglas in the Illinois Senate race of 1858.
- Farmington Historic Plantation; Louisville, Kentucky http://www.historichomes.org/Farmington/Welcome/tabid/1367/Default.aspx. This 1815 Federal styled home was owned by Lincoln’s best friend Joshua Speed. The connection with Lincoln connects to his 1841 visit to this house after his break up with Mary Todd in Springfield, Illinois.

Robert and his wife Mary spent summers here in the 1870’s and 1880’s.

Significance of this site is that it is near the site of the home of Abraham Lincoln (sr.) who was President Lincoln’s grandfather.
- Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site, Lerna, Illinois: The local Shiloh Cemetery is the burial place of Thomas and Sarah Lincoln. The site also owns the Ruben Moore Home State Historic Site and the Sargent Farm (neighbors of Thomas Lincoln).http://www.lincolnlogcabin.org

- Macon County Historical Museum and Prairie Village, Decatur Illinois http://www.mchsdecatur.org/lincoln.html A grouping of replica and original buildings representing the community where the Lincoln family first resided after moving to Illinois from Indiana. The Courthouse was part of the Lincoln pilgrimages since the early 20th century.

- Bostic Lincoln Center, 112 Depot Street, Bostic, North Carolina. Counter to standard accepted Lincoln historiography. Their mission is to preserve the claimed real birthplace of Abraham Lincoln here in North Carolina. The core statement is that Lincoln was really born of Nancy Hanks in an affair with Abraham Enlow in 1806. - Lincoln Funeral Car; traveling exhibit and part of Union Pacific RR, 1890’s to 1911 when it burned in a prairie fire near Minneapolis Minnesota. It had been a traveling exhibition around the Midwest.
