Turnitin–Step-by-step
Turnitin is a web site that allows students and teachers to interact on assignments. It enables teachers to run plagiarism checks for original material. This tutorial will show you how to set up an account with Turnitin and submit a paper to your professor.
This is the opening page of Turnitin.com.

Click on New Users in the upper right hand corner to register. If you are already a user, login with your email and password.
Use the drop down menu to select student and click the Next button.

Enter the Turnitin class ID number and enrollment password provided by your instructor. ONLY your instructor has this information. The library cannot provide you with this information.

Click the Next button.
The screen will confirm your enrollment in the class.

Enter your email address. You will use this email address to login to Turnitin.com from now on.
Click the Next button.
Enter a password that you will use to login to Turnitin.com from now on. Your password must be 6-12 characters and must have at least one letter and one number.

Click the Next button.
