BioOne
BioOne
is an Internet-based collection of electronic journals in the
biological, ecological and environmental sciences. Articles
in BioOne are full text, and include all illustrations and
links from the original printed articles.
CONSULTANT
A veterinary diagnostic support system that covers 7,000 diseases
of 8 species (canine, feline, porcine, ovine, caprine, bovine,
avian, equine). CONSULTANT allows for searching by both clinical
sign and diagnosis.
MERCK
Veterinary Manual
A comprehensive electronic reference for animal care information.
MERCK Includes over 12,000 indexed topics and over 1200 illustrations
and can be searched by topic, species, specialty, disease,
and keyword.
PubMed
A service of the National Library of Medicine, this database
provides citation and abstract access to 70 leading veterinary
journals. To limit your search to veterinary science, simple
select "animal" from the drop-down limiter option.

Index
Biological & Agricultural Index
Plus includes abstracts and full text coverage for selected
journals. Periodical coverage includes a wide range of
scientific journals, from popular to professional, that
pertain to biology, agriculture and veterinary science.

VSPN:
Veterinary Support Network
The Veterinary Support Personnel Network is an online community
for people working with, for, or in the field of veterinary
medicine. Membership in VSPN is free, but in order to have
access VSPN's community features (including message boards
and chatroom) you will need to register.
NetVet
A good source of veterinary information on the web. Created
by Ken Boschert, DVM and endorsed by the American Veterinary
Medicine Association. Includes the Electronic Zoo web resource.
USDA
Center for Veterinary Medicine
A division of the United States Food and Drug Administration,
the CVA is a public health organization responsible for the
evaluation, approval and/or surveillance of animal drugs,
food additives, feed ingredients, and animal devices.
