Trish Carroll

July 1, 2011 - Harrogate, Tennessee — Lincoln Memorial University-Duncan School of Law (LMU-DSOL) Dean Sydney A. Beckman announced the promotion of Trish Carroll from assistant to the director of admissions to admissions coordinator effective June 2011.

Carroll’s promotion comes as the LMU-DSOL welcomes a new Associate Dean for Admissions. In her new role, Carroll will coordinate recruitment activity for LMU-DSOL as well as represent the program at recruitment events, a task for which she is well suited having served as interim director of admissions during a national search for a new chief enrollment officer.

Carroll has played an integral role in the University’s American Bar Association accreditation process, since joining LMU-DSOL in September 2009. In her previous role, she processed applications, coordinated open houses and managed recruitment travel while the fledgling law school expanded to include both full- and part-time law programs. Her many contributions were recognized when the student body awarded her the Staff Member of the Year Award during the Student Bar Association’s Barrister’s Ball in April.

Carroll possesses over a decade of human resource experience. She joined the human resources staff at LMU in 2003 and served in various positions culminating in benefits administrator in 2006. In that role, she was responsible for all benefit processes for University employees and coordinated new employee orientations and paperwork. Prior to joining the University Carroll worked as an on-site supervisor and human resources generalist for Manpower at Toyota Motors Manufacturing in Georgetown, Ky.

Carroll earned a bachelor of science in organizational management at Tusculum College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education degree with a Human Resource Development concentration at Tusculum College.
