Don Patton, earned his degree at LMU in 1976 and embarked on a lifetime career in the oil and gas industry. Patton has a diverse background in energy land management and business development. He founded NDP Resources, LLC, and co-founded Harrogate Energy, LLC. He was also an officer and active participant in the company that brought natural gas service to Claiborne County, Tenn.
Throughout his career, Patton has been dedicated to building an energy independent America. He is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and has served the organization on various committees. He is also a member of the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of Professional Landmen.
In addition to his degree from LMU, Patton earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, and has been a Certified Professional Landman since 1988. He was the recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award at LMU and continues to serve his alma mater as a member of the advisory council for the LMU School of Business. Patton was named to the LMU Board of Trustees in 2012.
