I am a member of N.A.E.S.P. (National Association of Elementary School Principals) and V.A.E.S.P. (Virginia Association for Elementary School Principals) but do not hold an office. I recently was notified that an article, that I had submitted to "Principal" Magazine will be published.
In November 2011 I presented, to the chair of the department, a power point and notes on changing the name of EA&S 541 School Community Relations to meet NCATE Standard 4 dealing with diversity. The title of the course will be School Community Partnerships in a Diverse World.
I presented two sessions “Unlocking Achievement: The Essential Keys to Leadership” Annual conference of the Southwest Virginia Leadership Conference for Public School Administrators, Abingdon, VA (Oct. 2011).
I am currently working on the topic of "Diversity" to submit as a part of a text, that the Graduate Faculty of LMU is planning on publishing.
