       failure.   (See M.T. Student Handbook.)

20.  The ultimate objective of this clinical rotation is that the student will be able to

confidently work in the Serology/Immunology section of any laboratory, following a

TO THE INSTRUCTOR:  Please evaluate each procedure with regard to entry-level competency and evaluate as satisfactory, unsatisfactory, or incomplete.  In order to receive a satisfactory evaluation, the student must meet the clinical objectives as stated on the syllabus. Any area evaluated as unsatisfactory requires documentation in the comment section on the next page. An incomplete may be given if additional time in clinicals would correct a slight deficiency.

The test procedures listed below are considered the minimum requirements of the Serology/ Immunology clinical rotation. We encourage each clinical affiliate to expose the student to as diverse an environment in Serology as possible.  These are YOUR students--train them to be the type of M.T. whom you would be proud to work alongside!
