COURSE REQUIREMENTS

 

     Class Attendance and Responsibilities

     Class attendance is essential, so please avoid missing classes. Because this is an Activity Class, you are expected to perform the Skills involved, so come prepared and on time. You should be ready and dressed at the gym or at the soccer field on time (there will be notice of where the class will be).

     Proper attire includes shorts, T-shirts, sweat shirts, sweat pants, tennis shoes etc. No jeans and no street shoes, please.

 

                Examinations

     There will be one skills performance test at the end of the semester.

 

                Student Evaluation

     This class is an activity course and will issue a grade “P” to those that satisfy class requirements.*

  

         * Note: Presence is essential. A student can miss only three classes (unexcused absences) during the semester. In case of more than three unexcused absences, the course will be considered as Fail.

             As much as presence, participation is essential. Participation will be evaluated by a daily log kept by the professor on each student. Each student will be able to access to this log upon request, at the end of the semester.

 

 

 

 

Topics To Be Covered: Fundamentals and skills, rules, strategies (indoor soccer and outdoor soccer)
