               EACH STUDENT MUST HAVE OWN SET OF EQUIPMENT

 

      IV.             COURSE DESCRIPTION/COURSE GOALS

To develop a more detailed understanding of the rules, fundamentals, etiquette, course layout, and skills. The main course focus on playing ability.

q       Students will be able to learn and identify course terminology

q       Students will be able to understand the rules and regulations

q       Students will be able to develop basic skills

q       Students will be able to demonstrate techniques and basic fundamentals

q       Students will be able to understand the safety instructions that apply accordingly

q       Students will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding and knowledge of the game of golf.

q       Students will be able to understand how golf and business are related

q       Students will be able to walk and complete 9 holes of golf

q       Students will understand the golf course and etiquette

q       Students will be able to understand the rules and regulations

q       Students will be able to perform the different types of shots need on golf course

q       Students will be able to develop skills

q       Students will be able to understand the safety instructions that apply accordingly

q       Students swing skills will be preformed inside and out (weather permitting)

q       Students will be able to understand basic golf equipment needed
