Purpose: To acquaint
you with various forms of communication, both public and small group. You will develop skills that will aid you
through your life in communicating effectively.
Assignments: There will
be five tests. You will give a speech of introduction, a 5 minute informative
speech, an 8 minute persuasive speech, and you will do an interpretive reading.
You will Also participate in a group presentation. Your final will be a 10
minute motivational speech. You will also write a three-page review of the
dinner theatre production.
