Candidates wishing to apply for graduation must first fill out and submit Intent to Graduate form and submit to Erin Brock by the deadline each semester. The Intent to Graduate form starts the process for graduation. For MED students, the form also serves as a registration for r the comprehensive exam. All students need to complete the Commencement Attendance form and print the Graduation fee form. MED and EDS students who wish to participate in the commencement ceremony need to regalia following the instructions provided. Undergraduate students do not need to order regalia. The Registrar’s Office handles undergraduate regalia orders.
Graduating students are required to pay a graduation fee. This fee is required regardless of attendance at the commencement ceremony. The fee covers processing, auditing, diploma and regalia.
- UG = $75
- Master’s = $100
- EDS = $150
- EDD = $425
Students who anticipate any financial aid refund check should check their WebAdvisor account to see if the graduation fee has been paid with financial aid funds. Otherwise, payment should be submitted to the cashier’s office by no later than 2 weeks prior to the end of the semester. Payment may be made through WebAdvisor, in person with a cashier or by mail. If by mail, please complete and print the graduation fee form and mail to the address on the form.
2014-2015 Graduation Dates
- Fall – December 13th 11:00am Tex Turner Arena
- Summer – Summer students earn their degree and receive their diploma after the summer term. However, there is not a summer commencement ceremony. Summer graduates who wish to participate in a ceremony are invited to take part in the December ceremony.
- Spring 2015 – May 9th – 5:00 pm
