Research Interests

Utilization of metabolomics to study mechanisms of pathogenesis in neurogegeneration and oncology. Specific programs include:

  • Plasmalogen replacement as a therapeutic strategy in Alzheimer's disease
  • Oligodendrocyte cytoprotectants for multiple sclerosis
  • Mechanisms of demyelination in leukodystrophies
  • Endogenous inhibitors of colorectal cancer
  • Metabolomics of glioblastoma
