What high school courses are required for my student to attend college?
The Tennessee Board of Regents is the state governing body for most all of the colleges and universities in Tennessee. This organization helps in many ways with the functionality of the schools they represent. One of the decisions this Board helps to make is the setting of the high school requirements to be admitted into one of their colleges and/or universities. Why even go to college?
One outstanding fact about students receiving a four year Bachelor's Degree is that they are likely to make an average of $46,800 per year while a student with a high school diploma is likely to make $28,808 per year. This is a difference of almost $18,000. Not to mention that college graduates are less likely to be unemployed. Click below to view more information and see the breakdown by degree.
