SAFETY & SECURITY
The goal of LMU Security is to create and develop a growing nucleus of responsible, well-informed students who have the potential to influence public opinion concerning security practices and service delivery. The Security team hopes to fulfill a critical role of providing information and services to the LMU community and increase student awareness and involvement in safety and security issues. With the participation of faculty, staff and students, the Security team will improve the quality of campus life and build productive relationships to secure the LMU community. The LMU Security office is located on the first floor of the Grant-Lee residence hall. Security officers are on duty 24/7 and can be found throughout the campus ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. All crimes and other incidences are reported and recorded for public viewing in the Student Handbook, the Parent Guide and on this web page. All crimes occurring on the LMU campus area reported through the TIBRS System that tracks college campus crime rates. |
