Mission
The mission of Lincoln Memorial University’s Security Team is to provide and promote a safe and secure campus environment for our students, faculty, staff and visitors at the University, and our extended learning sites. We embrace the values of professionalism, respect, integrity, dedication and excellence.
Office Location
The Campus Security Office is located in the main lobby of the Tex Turner Arena, We are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The LMU Security Team is professionally trained and licensed by the State of Tennessee.
Services
Our security Team provides numerous services to the LMU Community, including but limited to:
- Vehicle patrols
- Foot patrols
- Door locks and unlocks
- Escort service after hours
- Camera monitoring
- Dispatching for both emergency and non emergency situations
Crime Statistics
All criminal activity is reported to the TIBRS system and can be viewed on line at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation web site. A summary is provided here.
