"Continuing Our Traditions"

Mission: The Gamma Lambda Sigma Fraternity is a member of the Greek Society of LMU, therefore, it is a social organization. Our mission is to unite men of similar thinking and ideas, and create an atmosphere of brotherhood that will stand for centuries to come. Though many members come from different walks of life and have their own individuality, we preserve the beliefs of fraternity. The purpose of the fraternity is to credit and promote the welfare of the University and the community and to bring honor to its members. Gamma Pride!

GAMMA LAMBDA SIGMA FRATERNITY

Perkins & Sanders

Gamma Lambda Sigma welcomes with continued brotherly trust and pride, our newest addition to the family, Bro. Matt Dalton. Matt completed his pledging program recently and took upon himself the Gamma Traditions as all have done before him...

Gamma Pride!

History: GLS was founded in 1930. All aspects of the fraternity - its colors, motto, and coat of arms - were derived from the Grant-Lee Literary Society. This brotherhood has maintained its reputation for hard work and earnest literary effort. Our proud list of alums include numerous well known Appalachian authors: Don West, Jesse Stuart, Lawrence Edwards, and Robert Kincaid (past University President) Other accomplished members include Dr. Jerry Bishop, past president of the University and Ernest Fields (Trustee) among a healthy list of others. Our motto: "He Can Who Thinks He Can!"
