Bird Mission has an opening for a Director of
Education/K-12 School Principal. Duties include, but
are not limited to: Function as principal of our
K-12 school; establish school calendar, courses of
instruction and general educational policy in
coordination with the Education Committee; recruit
and recommend professional staff for placement at
school; oversee school maintenance and upkeep;
supervise & evaluate all educational personnel;
advise the Board of Directors and its committees on
educational and budget matters, and provide
spiritual leadership for the faculty & student body.
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree or higher;
professional licensure in Kentucky as a school
administrator; or, professional licensure as a
school administrator in another state and
immediately eligible for licensure in the state of
Kentucky.
