OFFICE OF SPORTS INFORMATION Sports Release April 22, 2008 LMU Golf Recognizes Team Members At Athletics Banquet HARROGATE, TN – Lincoln Memorial University Golf Head Coach Travis Muncy made the presentation of several individual awards at the University’s annual Athletics Banquet on Tuesday night on the LMU campus. The Most Valuable Player award was give to Josh Collins (Luttrell, TN) of the men’s team, while Lady Railsplitter Katy Oliver (Bournemouth, England) was the recipient of the women’s MVP award. The LMU golf Best All Around award went to Railsplitter Jeremy Gordon (Middlesboro, KY) of the men’s program and Rhoni Daikoff (Orilla, Ontario, Canada) of the Lady Railsplitter program. The LMU golf Coach’s awards went to Brad Greenside (Barrie, Ontario, Canada) and Sarah Oswalt-MacNeill (Bluffton, Indiana). Muncy presented the 110% award to Railsplitter sophomore Steve Cambron (Middlesboro, KY) and Lady Railsplitter freshman Terran Harrison (Greeneville, TN). Cory Bartlett (Shanty Bay, Ontario, Canada) of the LMU men’s program and Kirsten Wolff (Amherstberg, Ontario, Canada) were also the recipients of the 2007-08 Freshman of the Year awards for the LMU golf program. The Lincoln Memorial golf teams ended their season in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament, held at Hickory Lake Country Club in Hickory, North Carolina.
