OFFICE OF SPORTS INFORMATION Sports Release March 6, 2008 Georgetown Lady Dogs Take Bite Out Of LMU Women HARROGATE, TN – The Lincoln Memorial University women’s tennis team dropped its second match of the spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon when the Lady Railsplitters lost to Georgetown College 8-1 at home on the Annan Courts. Lincoln Memorial’s only victory of the match came at the #1 singles position when senior Kathleen Rollet (Bouge Chambalud, France) won over Georgetown’s Emily Kerrick 6-1, 6-0 to remain only once beaten in the spring season. This weekend the Lady Railsplitters travel to North Carolina to take on Wingate University on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and then travel to Salisbury, North Carolina on Sunday to take on Catawba College at 10 o’clock. The Lady Railsplitters are now 3-4 overall dating back to last September’s match with Brevard College and will take a 2-0 conference record into Saturday’s match when they take on Wingate. -LMU- For additional
