Lady Railsplitters Defeat Lander

Greenwood, SC – The Lincoln Memorial University women’s soccer team improved to 5-4 Saturday evening with a 3-1 road victory of Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina. (Box score)

LMU sophomore forward Danielle Dos Santos (Campinas, Brazil) recorded the hat trick to give the Lady Railsplitters their fifth win of the year.  Dos Santos scored her three goals with help from teammates Heloisa de Oliveira (Campinas, Brazil), Camilla Verissimo (Brasilia, Brazil) and Stefani Taylor (Sacramento, CA).

The win gets the Lady Railsplitters back on the winning track and above the .500 mark for their home matches this week again Spalding University and Presbyterian College on the Les Gibbs Field.  Wednesday’s match against Spalding gets underway at 4:00 p.m.
