“Karina will bring talent, maturity, and lots of experience to our squad. She will make an immediate impact on us and will make our already strong offense that much more powerful," said D'Anna. Campos played her youth soccer with power house club, Sao Paulo FC. In addition, she played with Portuguesa FC, also in Sao Paulo city. In her club youth play; she captured state and national championships. She also had a stint with the Brazilian National Team and had the opportunity to train with some of the Brazilian players among the top in the world. Campos comes to LMU as a transfer from the University of Grande ABC and will pursue Athletic Training and Kinesiology as majors. The Lady Railsplitters finished 2006 with a 9-6-1 overall record while awaiting compliance with the South Atlantic Conference.
