Railsplitters and Presbyterian Battle to 0-0 Tie

HARROGATE, TN – The 11th ranked Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters kept their unbeaten streak alive at 16 matches, but could not draw a goal against Presbyterian as the two teams finished up with the 0-0 tie on Friday. (Box score)

LMU (9-0-2) out-shot Presbyterian 17-12, but six saves each by LMU's Brent Cole and PC's Mark Owens ensured that neither team would score a game-winning goal.

Brandon Tucker led the attack for Presbyterian (6-1-2) with six shots, while the Railsplitters were led by Diogo Silvy with four.

Next up for the Railsplitters is a match at the University of Charleston on October.   Presbyterian returns home for a South Atlantic Conference match against Wingate on October 4.
