LINCOLN MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY OFFICE OF SPORTS INFORMATION Sports Release April 25, 2006 Robyn Rowe Joins The LMU Women’s Soccer Team
A 5’2” right mid and right back player, Rowe attended and played at Melbourne High School in Melbourne, Florida. According to her coach Rosanna Lord, “Robyn is technically very sound. She is a capable athlete who is very dedicated and works hard at what she desires.” Rowe is the daughter of Bill Rowe and Dina Marks and plans on pursuing Criminal Justice at Lincoln Memorial University. “Robyn is strong and aggressive and has good potential,” says D’Anna. “She will have to adjust to the college level in terms of the pace and speed of play, but she is certainly capable of doing that. We are very happy to add her to the team.” The Lady Railsplitters recently completed spring training and now wait anxiously for the fall to begin their new endeavor in the South Atlantic Conference. The LMU women return 14 players from the 2005 squad that won the Gulf South Conference Championship and competed in their second consecutive NCAA South Regional Tournament. -LMU- For additional comments please contact, |
