This week-long workshop lead by award-winning playwright Lisa Soland will explore several dramatic formats: the 10-minute play, the one-person autobiographical or biographical play, and the one-act and full-length play. Before the week concludes, Lisa will discuss the business of being a playwright: submission, production, self-production, social networking, and building a career as a playwright. Classes will be held in the mornings, writing time in the afternoons, sharing time after dinner.
Learn the craft of playwriting from an excellent practitioner, build a strong and supportive community of fellow playwrights, and go home prepared to take up your craft in earnest.
Classes will take place in the Convention Center, Cumberland Gap. Residential participants will stay in LMU residence halls.
