JFWA Participates in Junior Beta Club Convention

The J. Frank White Academy’s Junior Beta Club  participated in the State Junior Beta Convention at the Opryland hotel in Nashville Monday, Nov. 24th and Tuesday Nov. 25th.  The students listed below were attendees at the convention.   Competitions included Battle of Books, speech, spelling, Tennessee History, Tower of Power, Math, Quiz Bowl, Poster, Poetry,  Scrapbook, Living Literature, Banners, T-Shirts and Arts and Crafts.   

JFWA's Quiz bowl team won the 2nd place award at the state level and are invited to participate in the National Junior Beta Convention in Orlando, Florida June 13-16. 2009. Members of the team are Diana Fitzovich (6th grade), Noah Leo (9th grade), Cid Oculam (9th grade) and Abigail Williamson (7th grade).
