By studying kinesiology at LMU, you'll master the concepts of physiology and
biomechanics, and you'll get hands-on experience using the latest technology for
studying and enhancing human performance. And while preparing for a career in
kinesiology, you'll also learn how to apply the values and principles of
Lincoln--service to humanity and the community--in your professional life
through the promotion of public health.

Upper-level courses provide students with the opportunity for hands-on learning
through supervised practicum experiences in a school setting where they develop

Career Opportunities
With a degree in kinesiology, you'll be prepared to pursue a career in teaching,
exercise science, coaching, sports management, sports communication, officiating,
sports psychology, personal training. You can also choose to enter physical
therapy school.
Graduate & Professional Opportunities
Following graduation, you can continue your education by studying teaching,
exercise physiology, sports psychology, and physical therapy at the graduate
level. Recent graduates are pursing advanced degrees in exercise physiology
at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and a post-baccalaureate teaching
degree at LMU.
Clubs & Organizations
The Health and Kinesiology Majors Club offers students who are interested in
health and exercise science another way to develop themselves both socially
and professionally.
