Academic Advising

We are committed to providing our PMSP students with the highest quality program possible.  Individualized academic advising is at the heart of our program.  Choosing your program of study is only the beginning of this relationship.  Your advisor will arrange for you to shadow a physician, either allopathic or osteopathic, in the community.  Your advisor will also work with you to find appropriate service opportunities that will be meaningful to you and help showcase your personal qualities to medical school admissions committees.

Your academic advisor will be with you each step of the way from admission to our program through application to medical school.  At the LMU Post-baccalaureate Medical Science Program, you and your academic advisor are a team—and our goal is to get you into medical school!
