ASN Program Course Information

The ASN program is located in four LMU locations. Two sites admit nursing students in both Fall (August) and Spring (January): Physicians Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, TN, and Alcoa City Center, Alcoa, TN. The other two locations admit students in Fall (August) only: LMU’s Main Campus, Harrogate, TN, and Baptist Health Corbin, Corbin, KY.

Deadline for applications is rolling; however, it is best to apply before March 1 if you are interested in entering in the Fall semester, and September 1 if you are interested in the Spring semester.

ASN Clinical Experience


The ASN program provides many clinical opportunities for students to exercise informed judgments. Nursing students learn to communicate clearly and effectively in a variety of settings.

ASN nursing students complete an optimal number of clinical hours and gain valuable real-world experience. Some of our clinical sites include:

  • Peninsula Psychiatric Hospital
  • East Tennessee Children's Hospital
  • Pineville Community Hospital
  • Claiborne County Hospital
