Application Materials


On this page, you will find all the materials necessary to apply to the Counseling Program at Lincoln Memorial University. A complete application will contain all the following:
  1. Application to LMU Counseling Program
  2. Non-refundable $25 application fee (check should be made payable to Lincoln Memorial University)
  3. Three Recommendation Forms
  4. Three Applicant Assessment Forms
  5. Professional Statement Essay, as outlined in application
  6. Two official transcripts sent directly from all colleges or universities attended, as described in Application form
Many applicants choose to have a recommender fill out both a Recommendation Form and an Applicant Assessment Form. Place both forms in a stamped, addressed envelope so that recommenders can confidentially fill out and return to the Graduate Education Office. These forms should be mailed by the recommender to:

Complete applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with successful applicants being set up for a personal interview with program faculty.
